'Call on me, let's talk' says the LORD

1 Chronicles:16.8
Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

Exposition
Beloved in Christ, how often do you call on God? When do you normally call Him? Where do you call Him? And under what circumstances, do you call on Him?

Many times, we tend to turn to God only in our distress and depressed moods. We call only on Him when we need help from Him. We only know that God exists only when there's trouble. Should it be so?

Two exercises underlined in the text; Give thanks and tell the nations about Him. This goes a long way than just calling Him when you need Him. Calling on to God is mandatory, calling on to God is a disciplinary exercise. Tell others about your God.

Calling on God is you building that cordial relationship with Him. Calling on God is you making him familiar with everything you do. It's shouldn't only when you need Him. He is not a human to be called on in times of need. He is God, stop treating Him as an option.

Communicate with Him daily, hear Him speak then you know you have called on Him.

Prayer

LORD, in whose name I am who and where I am today, please LORD, Grant me the strength to be patient on calling you and waiting to hear from you in Jesus's Name.

You're Nothing without Me, says the LORD

Matthew:19.26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Exposition Beloved, God is God. His potency makes Him God. His independence in decisions makes Him God. His ability to known and seen everywhere is what makes Him different from humanity. BE PATIENT! God is At work.

Many often, we lose patients when our needs delayed, especially after many sleepless nights of prayers and fasting. Did you know that Job could have just cursed God and move on with life, as his wife advised? But why didn't he? Job believed God was making something more valuable and special than what he's lost for him. Be patient, wait on God's approval before you proceed in pursuing your life goals and dreams. Life is temporary and becomes shorter when you lived in your own understanding and dictation. David always consulted God in everything he does, even with the petty things he knew he could do by himself, he still consulted God anyway. How much more for you? Be patient, wait on God's directives before you begin your initiative, God is close to you, He's just busy working better things out for you. Believe! (References: the book of Job, 1 Samuel 16-31)

They Will Hate You! 😔

Mark 13:13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Exposition Being a Christian, is you defending christ? He has fulfilled His mission of dying for humanity to attain grace in the presence of God. Persecutions are inevitable once you’re a Christian. The hate doesn’t begin from other people but yourself. Your flesh wrestles with the spirit of God. Even before the world hates you. Buts stand firm, believe in God. He is with you and by grace, you’ll make it to His kingdom.
